Hyderabad: City-based Raghu Vamsi Group, a manufacturer of components for global OEMs announced acquisition of PMC Group, a UK-based precision machining company specialising in components for the Oil and Gas industry. The acquisition is in line with the company’s aim to enhance its global footprint and expand its capabilities.

Raghu Vamsi Group’s manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad support critical programmes for Indian Defence and Space Research Labs. PMC Group, with over 35 years experience in precision machining, employs around 100 employees, clocking a revenue of Rs 180 crore. With this acquisition the Hyderabad manufacturer will be delivering advanced engineering solutions for the Oil and Gas sector.

Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, ITE&C, Government of Telangana noted that with the support of major Indian PSUs like Midhani and ARCI, who are supplying specialised raw materials and advanced engineered coatings, the local ecosystem is capable of meeting global demand while maintaining the standards of quality. “It is inspiring to witness a Hyderabad-based

Vamsi Vikas, Managing Director, Raghu Vamsi Group, said: “This acquisition now combines

our manufacturing strengths with PMC Group’s expertise in precision machining and helps expand our global footprint and cater to a wider segment of high precision products. Our portfolio will also grow beyond our traditional Aerospace and Defence to include Oil and Gas sectors with an entry into growing European markets.”
